About

There is a stark difference between what a man used to be and what a man should be.  Society has taught us that a man should be a provider and feel no emotion.  Society tells us that man should not be vulnerable because vulnerability is weakness.  Society has shown us that men should go to work, watch sports, drink beer, be tough, suck it up and move on.  Very rarely we are shown what a real man is because it either does not sell or we were not given examples of real men as children.
This blog was written not because it was fun or a cool thing to do.  This blog was written because I needed it.  I needed to write this and put it on paper for myself.  This is the brunt and honest truth about the deep orifice of childhood pain and how it can impact a person for the rest of their life.
This blog is not meant to be spiritual and I did not want to put to much faith based information into it.
I speak of God, faith, and love because that is what got me through the shit.  Whether you believe in Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, energy, whatever, there is a deep need to feel love and belonging.

I speak of the challenges, the mental discipline, and the toughness that is forged through driving yourself out of our comfort zone by pushing your mind and body.

* Learn through others experiences
* Grow by challenging yourself physically and mentally
* To give your best to others, you must first give the best to yourself.
